The YouGov BrandIndex has been released. The Index focuses on the ‘health’ of brands. John Lewis has topped the UK ranking of consumer perceptions of quality and reputation, followed by the BBC iPlayer and Sony.
However, as YouGov pointed out it “should be noted that all of the data for the list was compiled before the BBC published its pay figures”. Would the ranking be as high post-reveal?

According to The Office for National Statistics (ONS) as many as 2,529 products have shrunk in size over the past five years, but they are being sold for the same price.
We're familiar with the shrinkage/remodeling of popular chocolates such as Toblerone. Where the 'peaks' were moved.
However, products such as toilet rolls, coffee, chocolate and fruit juice are being sold in smaller packet sizes. The ONS have stated that the 'Shrinkflation' phenomenon has not had an impact on overall inflation figures.

We feel that our Podengo TV offer works well as a separate strand of research or as a nifty way of pitching for work. If you do want to use Podengo TV for proposal and pitching for work, then we offer a special 50:50 offer. You pay only 50% of the normal price – if you win the project, then you pay the rest. If you don’t win, then you don’t pay. Simple.
Don't just take our word for it, Barbara Langer, from Insight Angels, recently used our 50:50 offer...
"The Podengo team did a fantastic, speedy job of recruiting parents of footballing kids for our self-recorded video exercise. All of the participants freely and articulately shared their insights on camera, enabling us to bring those views into the board room via an impactful edit. We definitely intend to work with Podengo TV again"
You will receive a standard self-made film, which will run for 5-10 minutes and give you 10-15 participants, depending on recruitment criteria.

As Harold Wilson quite rightly said, 'a week is a long time in politics'. And we all know, a week in market research can be equally full and busy.
It's been one week since the General Election, and the Podengo TV team have worked speedily to capture a short video diary of GE2017 voters.
For this task, we recruited a handful of voters (all recruited within one day!) Some decided, some not. Each person captured their thoughts via film in the run-up to the election, then on the day and then straight after the result.

Please contact us if you would like to see more. We believe this short showreel captures how insightful our Podengo TV offer can be. It captures 'in the moment' behaviour, thoughts, and feelings from participants. A really useful tool for any researcher.
